Dear Employer,
I am motivated and determined to meet every goal I set for myself. My expectations speak for themselves through my actions and work ethic. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh demands high expectations just as any professional environment. Every day I try to learn something new while trying to be more creative. I have an Associate’s Degree in Web/Graphic design from the Garrett College of Maryland and next October I will graduate from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors degree in Interactive Media. I know an ample amount of software and I know how to work with both PC and Mac. I have my own Website and I have designed and developed for paying clients. I am the right candidate for the job.
The college classes I have completed vary from general classes like Composition English and Psychology, to technical classes like Advanced Web Scripting, Special Projects, and Copyright Law. My latest Internship at The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce involved performing various computer technical issues and working with a team of professionals. The programming languages that I know are HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ActionScript. I also know how to publish with Flash and Macromedia Director. I know the industry standard programs such as Microsoft Expression Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Quark Xpress, Macromedia Director, Corel Painter. Autodesk 3D, and many others. I am currently learning PHP and MySQL database languages.
